If anyone has ever seen Howl’s Moving Castle you should know that it is one of the greatest movies ever made. It has mystery, romance, fantasy and all those other good things that make us love movies. What I love about this movie is that everyone grows. Sophie is one of the main characters in this movie. To others and herself she is just a plain girl who doesn’t look like her mother and her sister. Really she doesn’t. She gets a curse on her by the evil witch of the waste and it makes her old. To her she looks like how she feels and sees herself. Through out the movie she opens up. She does what she wants to do not what others want her to do and she ends up falling in love with howl. I am not gonna give away the end of the movie but see for yourself it makes me feel uber happy watching it.
I watched it with my friends and we have ALL seen this movie and love it so it was great being able to spend time with them watching it. We talk about who we learned about it and what we thought about it when we were younger. I am not gonna lie I was super giggly because I had something in common to talk about with my friends. We have different personalities so it is sometimes hard for us to have things in common, but movies are what brings us closer together.
